Man, what a great couple of months. Thank you so much Ever So Android, The West, The Badlands, The Last Great Cavalry, KOZ, TBASA and everyone at the High Dive and White Rabbit. An extra giant thank you to everyone who came out and supported us for those shows. You’re all the best friends a band could have!

Our next show is The Comet, June 19th with French Letters, Case and Ctrl and Adrian’s new musical project, Rhodes Fortune! We’re stoked about the show and working on booking more for the upcoming months. Meanwhile, work on the EP continues. We’re about halfway through the next set of songs with a release coming sometime this Fall. More details when we have them. See you soon!

Our next show is Saturday, December 8th at Skylark with The Underwater Tiger. This will be our last show of the year before we head back into the studio to continue work on our EP! Unfortunately, Trace had to cancel due to a family emergency. Our best wishes are with them!

On Thursday, September 6, Post Adolescence and Mystery Ship will be at the High Dive supporting The Mad Caps as they kick off their West Coast tour.

This is a fabulous bill that you won’t want to miss:

Originally hailing from Las Vegas, Mad Caps spew out churning retro blues rock with a post punk vibe. The Desert Companion calls it “the kind of music you’d expect to open a show like “Sons of Anarchy” or a Hells Angels documentary. Think Louisiana bar-fight music, late-night cruiser tunes played on the original eight-track. Distorted guitar that instills a darkness the same way the Creature from the Black Lagoon might.”

Mystery Ship have a sound that is fresh yet familiar, and always energetic. This band is passionate, belting out rough-hewn vocal harmonies reminiscent  of Neil Young and Crazy Horse along with the big blues rock rhythms and riffs of Zeppelin and Black Sabbath with wild whirls of lead guitars reminiscent of Jeff Beck or Band of Gypsys.

And Post Adolescence, of course, are bringing their unmistakeable British post-punk glam sound with a sweet hit of pure pop, drawing from 80s post-punk sounds of the Buzzcocks, Placebo, and Manic Street Preachers.
